Since 1992, over 100,000 South Florida middle and senior high school students have committed to follow DFYIT's principles of remaining drug, alcohol and tobacco free.  DFYIT members embrace the principles of positive peer pressure and declare their drug-free status through voluntary drug screening.  Members also participate in substance abuse prevention education, community service, advocacy awareness, and reward and recognition events honoring their achievements.  Annually members donate over 100,000 documented hours of community service learning life-long lessons of philanthropy and community bonding.  All DFYIT activities and events are free to our student members.

DFYIT relies on grants, sponsorships and donations received to provide its drug prevention program and activities to at risk youth in Miami-Dade and Broward County.  Your involvement and generosity will make a significant impact in the lives of thousands of youth.  We welcome you to become one of our community partners and join along with many local businesses, municipalities, police departments, corporations and caring individuals who share a vision that our communities' youth have a chance to grow and mature into drug-free adults.
